Homemade Calendula Ointment
I would like to share the recipe on how to make calendula ointment.
This simple and easy to make ointment only required two (2) ingredient:-
1) Beeswax
2) Infuse calendula oil
3) Essential oil (optional)
Direction:
1) Mixing the beeswax and infuse calendula oil on a double boiler , stir occasionally until the beeswax melted. Now, you can add a few drops of the essential oil (optional).
2) Pour the mixture into the clean container, leaving it till completely cooled.
3) Cap & label it.
How to use:
Apply a little calendula ointment on any cuts, scrap, chapped lips, rashes, insect bite, dry skin a few times a day.
It is good to keep Calendula ointment (some called salve) on hand to treats the following conditions:
- Rashes
- Minor cuts, scrapes, burns
- Dry skin
- Chapped lips
I think that everyone should have one on hand, because this is easy to make. Moreover, by DIY your own Calendula ointment will save you a lot of money, most but not least, you know the ingredient that you used for your ointment that will make you feel safe and comfortable.
